VISA APPLICATION TIPS
Foreign participants usually need a visa to enter China. You are advised to submit your visa application to the appropriate authorities as early as possible, in order not to delay your travel plan.
We recommend that you apply for a tourist visa (category L), which is the simplest and fastest one. Before submitting your application, please always check with the Chinese Embassies or Consulates General in your local region for the latest information. You may find a complete list of Chinese Embassies and Consulates General here. In many countries (except the US), the tourist visa may be applied through the Chinese Visa Application Service Center. Note that applications sent by postal mails are usually not accepted.

For your reference, we list here the necessary items you will need for the L visa according to here.

INVITATION LETTER
*Please be kindly noted that the organizing committee is not authorized to assist with the VISA
process
beyond providing Conference Invitation Letter.
Invitation letters will only be issued once your registration and payment have been completed. A
Letter
of Invitation is a proof that your paper submission and registration application are accepted by the
conference committee board. It will be stated in English and may help with your visa application.
However, it does not guarantee you a visa.
Should your application be denied, the conference organizing committee cannot change the decision of
the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor will the organizing committee engage in discussion or correspondence
with the consulate or the visa center on behalf of the applicant.
